Hi all,

The Haiku Beta 2 Status meeting has just taken place. The overall
conclusion is that the code is in quite good shape. There are some
rough edges that the team wants to polish before releasing, so it was
decided to give everybody a few more days to get their changes in.

The polish involves the following:
 * WebKit update (currently undergoing testing)
 * Some updates to OpenSSH packages to support running sshd
 * Update to the Noto font to support Thai out of the box
 * An issue with pkgman update, openssl, and wouldblock.
 * Other minor issues that we might as well resolve.

Note that none of these issues are considered blockers, so if they do
not get finished within the extra time, they will *not* hold up the
release.

The new cut-off will be **Saturday the 29th of May, 09:00 GMT**. At
that time, the translations will be synchronized, as well as the
userguide and its translations. After that, steps will be taken to
prepare the release candidate. If you have any patches that you want
to get in, the advise is to have them ready for a final review on
Friday the 28th.

If during the course of next week you discover a blocking issue in the
r1beta2 branch, please raise a ticket with priority blocker. If there
are no blockers, the RC process will continue.

Thanks to all who joined the meeting!
