as discussed into the forum, it seems that it's difficult to find students
for GSoC (and other dev
activities).
I'm involved in several academic activities with three italian universities
(I teach Social Network
Analysis in small seminaries). Unfortunately, C++ is not the language of
choice but maybe we can
effectively recruit students from there _and_ eventually mentoring some
thesis works anyway (any
ideas?).
- Lack of C++
- Nobody knows about Haiku there, both the brand and the software kits.
- We must sell our "product". U know, Profs need to know that they can gain
something from the
initiative in terms of reputation and scientific publications (those who want
money were already
excluded apriori)
