I was thinking it would be interesting to create a (unofficial) URI
scheme with the package manager. Therefore you could use Haikuware as
a UI for browsing the packages and the actual package manager for
downloading them.
Maybe based off the ed2k URI scheme?
Haiku package mangment scheme:
hpms://|file|<filetype(application/library/decor)>|<filename>|<size of
file>|<hash of file>|/
If there are going to different repositories then, new servers could
be added with: hpms://|server|<host>|<port>|/
