Hi, i think you need Haiku uefi, i have this test for two day,
download this link and write to usb stick
https://keybase.pub/kallisti5/haiku-nightly-anyboot-efi.iso

only my network adapter dont work, so i have no network, sound works
out of the box,
my PC (little machine) have:
- Mainboard:   MSI Mortar 250m
- CPU:            Intel Pentium G4560 Kaby Lake
- GPU:            MSI Nvidia GTX 1050 TI
- RAM:            Kingston 16GB
- HDD:            1T Baracuda

So i need a network driver for ethernet with:
Intel Ethernet Vonnection (2) i219-V

2017-06-07 22:29 GMT+02:00 Bruno Albuquerque <bga@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>:

After a long hiatus, I decided to install Haiku again. I have this new
Desktop with an Asus Rampage V Extreme motherboard (X99) and when trying to
boot Haiku on it (either form CD or USB drive) I see some dots being output
to the screen and in `second or so the computer resets.

It appears it does not even manage to load the Haiku boot loader as, at
least, pressing SHIFT does not show the boot loader menu.

The motherboard has no serial ports.

Any idea about what might be causing this or how to debug it considering the
mentioned constraints above?

Thanks in advance.
