Hello all
I am interested in participating in GSoC 2019 through Haiku and have gone
through past projects. Among them, I've found the btrfs project to be quite
interesting.
In order to begin contributing, I have downloaded haiku's source, compiled
and installed it onto a virtualbox. I have also created an account on
dev.haiku-os.org (username: iambrj) and gone through the links listed on
haiku's development page. Furthermore, I have gone through GSoC 2017
reports on btrfs and its wiki page on kernel.org.
From what I understand, writing to disk works with directories but not
files. If I could know that this is true, and what other features from the
wiki page should be implemented, I will start working on it right away.
