There's at least one known issue with CVS on Haiku:
http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/3142
Not sure if this is related to your issue or not.  One thing to try might be
to try checking your code in using Linux to the same place and if that works
then you'll known it's a Haiku specific problem.  Also if it works for you
on Linux check to see what the version is of the CVS, we're using 1.12.13 on
Haiku.
