Actually it wasn't a typo, i looked under components and found the that #3690. The dump happened as I was copying the file from a vfat partition to a vfat partition. So, I kinda thought its a vfat driver bug. Did you have a look at the photo I sent you ? Anyway, you be the judge of it. I have however attached a photo to the #3690 ticket, if its not related , then that must be removed as well. -Anoop On Fri, Aug 21, 2009 at 3:10 AM, Axel Dörfler<axeld@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Anoop Kumar Narayanan <anoop.kn@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: >> Nightly build: r32063 ( Aug 1 2009) >> Ticket: #3690 (Very similar to it) > > Indeed, we have a bug tracker :-) > And it's also the preferred way to add comments to bugs instead of > using this mailing list for this. > >> Initial error message read : >> /home/haiku/Haiku/trunk/headers/private/kernel/util/ >> DoublyLinkedList.h:467): >> fFrist!=NULL &&fLast !=NULL >> thread 340 MoveTask >> >> Reproducing: >> Transfer file from one mounted vfat partition to another mounted vfat >> partition ( both of them were mounted as RW ) >> Copying large file (ISO image approx 700Mb, kdumped in seconds >> though) >> from one vfat partition to another vfat partition and the kernel >> dumped core. > > But anyway, this doesn't look like #3690 at all, but rather like #2690 > or was that just a typo? > > Bye, > Axel. > > >
