At http://www.haiku-os.org/guides/ you will find information on how to compile Haiku, which would be a good way to start for most of our upcoming GSoC projects (they often involve modifying the OS itself). > > I have decided to start with Learning to program with Haiku - DarkWyrm. The first is called "learning to program with Haiku" and targets people without much experience in C++ programming. The second one is called "Programming the Haiku Operating System" and assumes some knowledge of the C++ language. Maybe it is more useful to you. It can be found here as a series of blog articles linking to lessons in PDF format: https://www.haiku-os.org/tags/programmingwithhaiku?page=1 Don't worry about the apparently strange numbering of the chapters. As mentionned here, the missing chapters are mostly rewritten and expanded in the "learning to program" book series: http://darkwyrm.beemulated.net/lessons.htm > > Thanks!
