Just getting around to reading this...
As someone who has donated over $1000 to the cause in a single year during
Dario's paid contract... I can't say that I'm a influencer, just a fan of
haiku and PM agnostic.
During the last hour of reading the one thing that sticks out is Dario
burned his bridges by reverting work, out of spite, and has stated he would
do it again. This is what we would call lack of remorse. Therefore cut
him. You do not need someone who doesn't want to help the project, no
matter if they are talented. Based on the mailing list that keeps going on,
and on, and on, it keeps getting worse for Dario every time he sends a new
email... It's time for him to find something to do with his life other than
Haiku related things.
Please note, this honestly needed to NOT be a public exercise. There is no
reason why I should even be typing an opinion, but since it's in the public
domain, here I am.
Sorry Dario for how publicly this process happened, but it's time, based on
your own statements, for you to make the first step, and break free from
the Haiku Project.
Thank you for your help, you are a very talented programmer and will make a
good impact in your future endeavors. I have no regrets as to funding some
of your wages.
