would imply that distinction. I at least believed all these things
were implied in the vote to remove commit access, and I will be
surprised if someone else thinks they were not...
in the past, it pretty much depended on what was being voted on. Most of
the time, votes had been on giving someone commit access. And for these
types of votes, only commiters had a voting right. Seldomly votes were
on technical decisions, and then also only commiters had voting rights
while anyone could express their "vote". But there have been some
community votes like on the icon design or R1 features.
As I have not yet formally expressed my vote here, I can use the
opportunity to say that I am pro revoking commit access (naturally
including the right to vote on commiters and technical decisions), and
against a total "community ban", which means Dario should still be able
to participate in discussions, code reviews and votes on other subjects,
as any "normal" Haiku follower and community member. I had revised my
opinion following the interactions here and on Gerrit.
