Except there clearly isn't universal agreement that it's "opposite and
confusing". If we're going to change the name of it, and consequently
refactor everything using it, it IMO needs to be a noteworthy
improvement, which to me is a bar that none of the suggested
alternatives meet. Furthermore, I'm not a huge fan of API design by
popularity contest, since it's pretty much the epitomy of
bikeshedding.
