Ok, I have given the root user an e-mail address, such that I can do this 
after deployment.

Should this run on the same machine (in order to share the actual 
repositories)? Or does it require to be run on a different machine? It 
shouldn't be a problem to setup a reverse http proxy for 
https://depot-test.haiku-os.org on the current machine, but this would have 
to forward requests to a second instance of haikudepotserver. Can two 
instances of haikudepotserver be run simultaneously? Judging from the init 
script and the configuration file, this should be possible, but what's your 
recommendation?
How would this separation work on the database level?

This doesn't seem to make much of a difference, at least the resulting RPM 
is still tagged as a snapshot. How can I check that I've got the intended 
result?
