I would almost assume this is on purpose. What if a package has significant
meta data attached on haiku-depot-web, and you want to migrate that to the
new package? If the package just disappears, how would you get to that
data? Maybe it would be good to somehow present the package in such a way
that it is clear it is an outdated package.
