Howdy,
I need someone who is familiar with the internals of the radeon_hd
accelerant to show me the *proper* way to allocate the 16KiB (16384
bytes) from graphics RAM for the bitmap cursor.
I don't want to risk damaging things, so I'm not gonna just try and hope
I'm right ;-)
Code to allocate 16KiB would be ideal, but giving me a few hints would
be fine as well.
I don't see any good examples in the driver, and the way Linux does it
is considerably different... to say the least.
Thanks in advance (and, please, be quick.. before I go guessing and
risking my $300 video card's health...).
