I've had thoughts of doing some restructuring of shortcut handling in
various ways, and I think having "secret" unchangeable shortcuts at
the system level isn't good.
I've begun work on improving shortcut handling in menus, but there is
still much to do, and my Haiku time is pretty limited these days. But
the eventual result would hopefully be a much improved Shortcuts
preflet and maybe even configurable shortcuts for common operations
(cut, copy, paste), though that is lower priority.
