yes thats true, but media collection sorts the files by artist and album in a tree view which makes it a bit more convenient. Would like to see specialized views in tracker to display data in a better way (optional, like icon view and depending on the shown files). A similar view could be created with a iTunes like grouping...
Furthermore, in a tracker solution all tracker addons are automatically available.
