There is no "former contributors" section, just "contributors". The only
section split in to current and former is for senior developers
("maintainers")

Both the "Current maintainers" and the "Website, marketing and
documentation" lists include people that have not been active in a
long time. Please, check them out. The question is: will Haiku be
consistent and move these people out of those lists too?

These lists have been cleaned up from time to time in the past. They will probably be cleaned up again.

I can only guess that the reason why Matt moved you specifically was that you are not an active contributor for sure, while with others he maybe wasn't sure. Perhaps he had some feelings about you in particular being listed in this section, and he does not share the same feeling respectively does not care about other people listed there, who may potentially contribute again in the future. But that is pure speculation on my part.
