I know/agree. Basically this is what happened: At the time I was getting pretty frustrated with some problems in the plugin and I couldn't explain them when I compared that to ffmpeg 0.6 (ffplay) in Linux. So just to make sure that what I was seeing wasn't just a problem of the random older SVN version of ffmpeg we used, I upgraded my local tree with ffmpeg 0.6. This made some of the problems go away indeed, basically all my AVIs suddenly got demuxed correctly. Then my harddrive was beginning to act really weird and I didn't want to lose all this work and "quickly" committed it. Originally I had planned to do things right, but only after confirming that the problems I was seeing were indeed due to the version used. Best regards, -Stephan
