I know, I just tried to answer with a joke, too ;-)
Anyway, it's fixed in r36899, and that also explains why it worked in
emulation: I've used another shortcut there, since ctrl-alt would not
work reliably (as it ended mouse+keyboard input there). For the commit
I exchanged the modifier again, and forgot the parenthesis...
