Phew, while the changes sound nice, they would get virtually no testing anymore. The change set also doesn't qualify as small or fixing anything serious. So I'd rather not merge it anymore.
Bummer, but I guess that's a good decision, since I couldn't stay away from the locale kit which affects other apps :-)
Yes, that last bit wasn't a good idea so short before the release, way too much risk to break stuff - as was the case indeed. Otherwise it would have been nice to include the changes to the Locale preflet.
