A "24 MB/s" should be pretty short, though (that's what I would use as 
the short string) :-)
In any case, I think we should make the tracker status window either 
resizable or it should adapt its size to the font size automatically.

Another winning suggestion: how about a tool tip that shows all the 
additional info in real time at once? :-)
