I didn't notice that Trash folders on a volume show the unified contents of
the Trash folders of all volumes. I don't really like that. To me, the
cleanest solution would be to see the actual contents of the trash folder
of a volume, and only have the unified Trash contents when opening the
Trash on the Desktop. That way, the Trash icon on the Desktop is like "the
Trash feature", while actual trash folders on volumes are real folders,
which make it transparent how putting something in the trash works "behind
the scenes".
