I prefer having it propageted to the several mirrors, though. But what do you mean with commit by noting the comment? Would it be a problem to just prepare a new commit the removes the sources and in a next step commiting the sources the right way. Or is this overengineering?


For the sake of completeness: In the end I did a double commit to bring the version information into the repository. Thats the reason for r34518 and r34519. So the cause that it didn't work the first time was rooted in copying the sources from RELEASE_8_0_0 with svn copy correctly into wlan/ralink, but renaming it then to wlan/ralinkwifi with 'svn mv wlan/ralink wlan/ralinkwifi' destroyed the copy information.
