Ah, yes. An extra panel just for setting the number recent folder and 
docs is a bit much. I'm also not sure if anybody would want different 
settings in the Deskbar and in open/save dialogs...
Just make sure, that if you do the ref-filtering to only show supported 
files, you use the whole set number of entries of those supported 
files. I mean, if you have an Open dialog of StyledEdit and the list of 
recent documents looks like this:

3 txt
6 jpg
5 mp3
1 txt
2 avi
5 txt


Your filtered recent e.g. 10 list shows

3 txt
1 txt
5 txt

and doesn't just cut after the 10th entry, giving you

3 txt
