Ah well, it's not that bad; I just wanted to use Haiku at that point, 
and was a bit frustrated that nothing worked anymore (incl. the ATA 
problem introduced in r33626).
In general, you should of course try not to break something for others 
- if it happens, you should be as surprised as everyone else, at least 
;-)

That seems to have done it. I'm not really fond of the click-to-focus 
mode, and that it changes the behaviour of Activate(), but I don't 
really have a better idea either.

BTW: when FFM is active, the Mouse preferences application doesn't 
disable the "accepts first click" checkbox on start, only when you 
select FFM during runtime.
