The ticket was filed against debug_server, which you apparently made
yourself component owner of at some point (I used to be), so I was
never notified by email or made aware of it. Given that changes to the
Debugger were proposed, I could've at least been cc'd, so no, I was
not aware of the ticket at all.
If Diver, our "main tester" (insofar as we have one) felt that this change
should be made enough to personally file the ticket after the issue came up
on IRC, then I think his UX concerns should be listened to.
So no, I am not going to "just revert" this.
And my point stands. Diver is a highly technical user who would not
have a problem navigating the debugger. The whole point of putting it
in the crash dialog was to make it brain dead easy for someone
non-technical. If the input of the people who were responsible for
implementing that functionality to begin with is apparently
irrelevant, then just say so and I'll stand aside permanently. In the
meantime, my request to revert stands.
