Uh, why? The change is not wrong, it's exposing brokenness. It's been
requested before for sysadmins to fix these problems and they haven't, so
this was intended to apply some degree of pressure to fix the problem (and
it seems to be working -- geist and jessicah on It are getting to fixing it
now.)
