This window should never pop-up unless the user requests it. This
isn't java :-P

Nice progress so far.  It would be nice to know "what" the updates
are, perhaps just which packages are getting updated.  I kown ubuntu
let's me know, and based on the list I get I will then decide if I
want to do them now or wait till a later time.

Yeah, ideally a list of base package names that gets checked off
would be a great indicator. Not sure if that's possible given
the current Package Kit API though.

I'm sure like everything this will evolve, but nice to see that we
will have likely have something like this soon.

I think you brought it up originally. Really good idea.

This is definitely something that would of bitten us.
(Non-expert users never updating since it's all command line based)
