Preferably. It shouldn't really be that hard to come up with a more correct 
and complete solution.

It can be solved by setting the umask on the buildbot slaves (in the buildbot 
configuration). for some reason the default umask set by buildbot is not what 
we expect. Some slaves were already fixed, but not all of them.
