The reason to pass on these message to the parent is mostly because of
allowing scripting to work, also the BHandler observe mechanism is based on
that.
Ie. you can prevent this from working either accidentally or on purpose
this way.
Yes that was the aim, but since it isn't causing any sort of problem why
not provide this feature? It's replying to messages not understood that may
come handy in the case someone (or some scripting app) accidentally try to
use it.
