3 remarks:

1) 3D Rendering preferences allow to see (and in the future to tune)
OpenGL kit, via libGL.so, information. The OpenGL kit being modular,
the actual add-on backend may be NOT using Mesa3D but, hypothetically,
a proprietary GPU add-on backend. This abstraction leads to no
presenting the whole 3D Rendering as being fully and only Mesa 3D
based which this logo may let people think it is.

2) "Not your grandpa's GL". Really? Usually Haiku try to keep a
neutral tone, and I'm not sure this kind of sentence is helping,
considering that Haiku is sometimes tagged as a dead technology clone

3) Having an actual 3D rendered "logo" would make sense better here,
maybe. Embebding glgears ?
