Those are pretty neat stats. Should we account for importing large
chunks of foreign code bases, such as GDB? These are seen as vertical
lines in the graph.

Yes, we could filter out these commits if desired (assuming we can
identify them by commit hash). Note that it affects the first graph
(number of lines per author), but not as much the second one (number
of commits per author), which I think is somewhat more relevant. Often
an 1 line fix is a lot more investigation work than a large refactoring.
