While some people are finishing a Summer Of Code, some others have a
Summer of No-Code indeed.

After 10 years, in fact it's a constant that haiku devs activity drop
a bit during summer.
On a wider scale, while haiku development pulse seems more periodic
than before, the issue is more about the periods range. Something that
a more frequent (and maybe more automated) release process could help
to keep under control, maybe?

Or maybe we need some new fresh project to keep the fire well alive,
and working on Haiku the operating system alone is not a good
motivation anymore. Like a teenage crisis.
Maybe it's time to think about an Haiku Apps spinoff. The recent
survey results shows there is a most-wanted spot here.

Of course, another explanation could be that all haiku devs are also
traders that are more busy panicking than coding.

Both theories are equally probable :-)

Bye,
Philippe.
