This includes quite a few changes that look like they break style at the first
look - however, this is caused by reverting some files (adding the cast
operator made the changes unnecessary). The reason I do this is that I use this
branch to create a patch that makes Haiku compile with Clang and that I would
like to keep that diff as small as possible to make it easier to get that patch
imported - the repo is not thought to be just merged (at least not without some
serious git rebase -i work first).
