[openbeos-cdt] Re: IRC chat session

It's hard for me to be on those IRC sessions. I've
got a 3 months old son. As you know or maybe don't
know yet this doesn't leave you with much time too
sleep or work. I really can't afford (for health
reasons) to stay up (I'm in Europe) for these
sessions.

I don't think these IRC meetings are a bad idea, but
not everyone in the team can participate due to
several reasons,timezones, other appointments, (having
a life ;-) or better a wife) etc.

Forums or mailinglist may be slower but at least
everyone can participate.

I hope a list will be created with the names we came
up with until now. Debro could put it on his site
maybe. A list with things/names too avoid etc.
We should be able to narrow our choices and come up
with something.

Personal favorites:

BEBOP: (the music was inventive, innovative,
groundbreaking, with an emphasis on virtuoso
performance + contains the word Be and Op from Open)

EYESYS: (for Isis, Egyptian, with an eye as symbol,
first words of the myth:'Isis was a clever woman...
more intelligent than countless gods... she was
ignorant of nothing in heaven or on earth')

JAFFA: (Type of Orange see Apple or sol-aris for sun)

OXYGEN: (Is needed for life, pretty obvious...)

SCARAB: (which is a be-atle, the Egyptians
immortalized the scarab beetle as sacred . The
Egyptians believed that the scarab beetle represented
their sun god, Ra. Ra was the Egyptian god who rolled
the sun across the sky and buried it each night) But
then again it rolls dung;-)

TERRA: (Lating for earth, could be combined with
Terracotta for colorscheme.

TUI:(Latin for "yours", belonging to the community)

IDUN: (Old Norse
Goddess of youth, her name means "The Rejuvenating
One". She is married to Bragi and is the keeper of the
"Apples" which keep the gods eternally young).

The eternal young one who keeps the Apples hmm a good
one for Apple ;-)
