 You're right, and in fact, while I started doing (2) I thought about this
 a bit more, and realized this by myself. By the way, I find the symbolic
 link stuff not so nice, what about this instead:
 BSoftSynth looks for a settings file like /home/config/settings/synth
 which contains the path/name of the synth file ?
 Well, yeah it works just like a symbolic link, but somehow I find it
 nicer. Opinions ?
