Yes, the cut of the end of file is on the decoding side and most likely a
problem in MediaConverter itself. But it should still be fixed :)
I have the "transcode" program from Be sample code as well, but it
probably shares the same issues as Mediaconverter was derived from it by
adding a GUI.
I think it is possible to get the Media Kit to properly negociate formats
so no conversion is needed on the application side (we just need the
decoder to use a format the encoder can accept).
