 What is your build environment?  Ubuntu?  Macos x?  Haiku32?  Haiku64?  I
 am running Haiku x86_64 hrev45399 (nightly).  Install that to a partition,
 then build haiku x86_64 as an image (jam -q haiku-image) and then run the
 installer and install from the image to another partition on the system
 and see if it boots.

 If it STILL works fine, then I'm crazy or both my Dell Inspiron 570 and
 Acer Aspire X1200 are crazy computers unfit for Haiku. And how likely is
 that?
