It has to do with IOM rendering in linear RGB space, while the icon
library produces sRGB (with a gamma curve) bitmaps. Something somewhere is
not being converted as it should be. I may have turned the conversion off
since it looked better without it, I don't remember, it's so long ago I
wrote the code.
