Just to correct this statement: After you change the Locale language, a
newly opened app does use the new strings right away. Tracker and Deskbar
have to be restarted (Locale prefs maybe should ask to do that when
changing the language...). Catalan was a bit unfortunate an example, as
there are almost no translated strings yet, see [http://i18n.haiku-
