New description:
Promise FastTrak 100 TX2 driver [http://cgit.haiku-os.org/haiku/tree/src
/add-ons/kernel/busses/ata/promise_tx2 promise_tx2] was excluded from
Haiku on hrev30700 because it fails to compile.
I wouldn't ask to support it if Haiku didn't have a driver to begin with,
but it does so I was wondering if someone could fix it so I can install
Haiku to a PC with that controller (install and boot from a drive attached
to the controller).
I can test any possible fix or solution and give feedback.
