 Just so we're clear...

 1) I formatted my Lubuntu partition as ReiserFS
 2) I installed all the files, requested in the installation instructions
 on the site
 3) I installed mkisofs (and removed that other iso version)

 Not sure what else I can do, to make my partition and/or OS more Haiku
 build compliant.  I haven't tried building my own copy of Haiku 64-bit
 yet, but will in the next few days, if that does any good.
