Laurent is saying that the mouse pointer moves correctly on his Dell
Inspirion when using the trackpad, but when plugging in a USB mouse the
pointer's movement becomes erratic, freezing for several seconds at a
time. In his syslog I noticed a truckload of these USB messages:
