If it's of any help, a kernel thread called "mskc intr handler" is
consuming ~40% CPU on my machine, causing a noticable general slowdown and
UI sluggishness. Lowering its priority from "Real-time" to "Lowest" gets
rid of the sluggishness, but has a further negative impact on the network
performance.
