I understand and mostly agree.
A help item in the context menu may be a more elegant solution however I
was thinking that it would be better to get the hint more immediatly in
the users face.
One small problem with the context menu is that it only activates when you
right click on the actual disk usage view (and on one of the colours, not
just the grey part) and not on the majority of the whitespace surrounding
it where it is more natural to try right clicking.
Is the solution to make the context menu work everywhere in the main view
and have a help item? Perhaps another soltion would be to make the message
disappear after the first click. That way users can get the help they need
immediately and it doesn't bother them after that.
