#8334: Strange ICMP echo time with Marvell 88E8040 -------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: post-factum | Owner: nobody Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Drivers/Network/marvell_yukon | Version: R1/Development Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: x86 | -------------------------------------------+------------------------------ I use Haiku nightly hrev43745. After fixing panic related to new Marvell 88E8040 driver I tried to test network. Here is ping log. Delay starts from ~1000 ms (!), then drops to 1 ms and grows linearly on each step. After several ping launches network card becomes unresponsive. On Linux network is OK delay is <1 ms constantly, so this is not about cable problems or something. Also have a look at syslog part, there are watchdog messages related to network card. Linux lspci output is enclosed as well. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/8334> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
