As posted in this previous ticket (https://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/8059)
the screen of the Asus 1215b is actually totally distorted, as seen on the
ticket's screenshot.
I joined the syslog from the boot attempt.
If it can help you figure out what's going on, the last haiku build with a
non-distorted resolution (on vesa, i think) was R43671. At least for me
I tried to take a screenshot of the screen after booting from a USB stick.
To my surprise, it was absolutely good, as if my Desktop was normal, even
if it looks as on https://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/8059's screenshot.
If any extra data is required I'll be glad to provide it.
