#8269: Terminal: switch ALT CTRL in linux key mode -------------------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: czeidler | Owner: zooey Type: bug | Status: closed Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/Terminal | Version: R1/alpha3 Resolution: invalid | Keywords: shortcuts mode Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All -------------------------------------+---------------------------- Changes (by bonefish): * cc: ingo_weinhold@… (removed) * status: new => closed * resolution: => invalid Comment: When you switch to the non-default modifier roles, Alt and Ctrl switch key roles *everywhere* in Haiku. The behavior is entirely intended, particularly in the Terminal. This way common shortcuts (Cmd-C, Cmd-V,...) don't clash with the terminal control shortcuts (Ctrl-C and friends). -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/8269#comment:1> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
