What are the specs on the computer running Virtual PC?
Also, something you might be able to try possibly, I haven't used Virtual
PC but I've noticed a slightly better responsiveness in VMware by
increasing the process priority on the virtual machine from the Windows
task manager(I'm running on a Vista laptop).
