Tracked it to get stuck somewhere inside the second call to
device_get_children(..) here: http://dev.haiku-
os.org/browser/haiku/trunk/src/libs/compat/freebsd_network/fbsd_mii.c#L393
(ma.mii_phyno is 1, phymax is 31)
